Mark 4:13一20
Then Jesus said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word, but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop一thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.

4:13又對他們說、你們不明白這比喻麼．這樣怎能明白一切的比喻呢。
4:14撒種之人所撒的、就是道。
4:15那撒在路旁的、就是人聽了道、撒但立刻來、把撒在他心裡的道奪了去。
4:16那撒在石頭地上的、就是人聽了道、立刻歡喜領受．
4:17但他心裡沒有根、不過是暫時的、及至為道遭了患難、或是受了逼迫、立刻就跌倒了。
4:18還有那撒在荊棘裡的、就是人聽了道．
4:19後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑、和別樣的私慾、進來把道擠住了、就不能結實。
4:20那撒在好地上的、就是人聽道、又領受、並且結實、有三十倍的、有六十倍的、有一百倍的。

落在荊棘中的種子也發芽了，但被荊棘擠滿了，無法結實。這代表有些人聽到神的話語，但世俗的憂慮、財富的追求等事物擾亂了他們，讓神的話語無法在他們的生命中結出果實。
落在好地上的種子發芽了，並結實，有三十倍、六十倍和一百倍的收成。這代表有些人聽到神的話語，接受並理解它，並且在他們的生命中結出豐盛的果實。他們通過信仰、聖靈的引導和與神的關係，使神的話語在他們的生命中生根、生長和結出豐盛的果實。

這個比喻告訴我們，神的話語會遇到不同的反應，但只有那些接受、理解和遵從神的話語的人才能在他們的生命中看到豐盛的果實。
